My name is Liam O'Brien and I'm the owner and head coach at Yorkshire Kettlebell Club in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. 

I've been a personal trainer and coach for 15 years, originally specialising in kettlebell training but then expanding into general fitness and weight loss, strength training including sports specific training, strongman, powerlifting, and strength and conditioning. 

Yorkshire Kettlebell Club is a private gym and personal training studio. Its not open to the general public and members can only train there by appointment. Most of my clients don't enjoy training in large public gyms and find the thought of hundreds of people watching them as they train off putting; at Yorkshire Kettlebell Club when you book a session you will always be the only one using the gym. Over the years I've found that we get better results and my clients get much more from the sessions when they aren't worrying about feeling self conscious. 

Being a private gym you can guarantee that Yorkshire Kettlebell Club is 100% Covid Secure and we are regularly inspected by Kirklees Council. Each and every piece of equipment is cleaned and disinfected each time its used and the entire gym is cleaned several times a day. Social distancing certainly isn't an issue as more often than not you will have the entire gym to yourself!

Yorkshire Kettlebell Club is a private gym in the centre of Huddersfield. It is exclusively for one to one and small group personal training and is not open to the general public. 

The gym is fully kitted out with some of the best fitness equipment available including:

  • Functional training and conditioning with powerbags, TRX, battle ropes and slam balls.

  • Boxing with 2 full size professional bags.

  • Powerlifting area with power rack / cage, deadlift platform and 1000kg of plates.

  • Strongman area with log, axle, yoke, farmers walk, slam balls to 80kg and atlas stones to 120kg with variable height loading platform.

  • Kettlebell training with traditional cast iron kettlebells from 6 to 64kg and pairs of competition kettlebells to 32kg. 

  • In addition we have specialist and custom made gym machines including pendulum squat, free trainer, cable crossover, leg extension etc.
